The Mountain Fortress

After many days of running multiple printers to produce 39 pieces of this huge model, we’re in the home stretch. The next stage is to glue these pieces together into a cohesive model.

Each piece contains guide holes to assist in this gluing process, so shouldn’t be too hard.

After gluing we putty any gaps and sand everything down ready for priming and painting.

This model will form an amazing Mountain Fortress (AKA Helm’s Deep) that will be our new window display at our shop. So, still lots to do but here’s some teaser pics to see what the final piece will look like. Dwarven mini’s from the latest Tales Of The Deep set will fit nicely in this build. Then maybe some Assault Orcs attacking the walls.
